THE CLASSIC CITY SOCIAL CLUB – Athens, GA

The Athens Classic City Pilot Club began this group in 1991 for individuals with brain/head injury who are more independent. No walkins are allowed. For safety reason, they ask for a referral which could be a doctor, family member, teacher or other person acquainted with the individual. They meet at the Masonic Lodge at 386 Research Drive in Athens, Conference room , one Sunday a month from 2-4.  There are 3 or more Pilot Club members that supervise and provide refreshments. Activities include bingo with prizes, annual Christmas party, annual picnic, anniversary celebration. There are computers to help members work on memory retention, dexterity, math skills, problem-solving and written communication.
